Which bank is the best for a loan?
There is no such thing as the best bank for a loan. This is because every bank has a different risk policy. Much more relevant for you as a borrower is that the bank must suit you and your needs. You must also be a good fit for the bank and its credit requirements: This is why all banks check each customer individually for their creditworthiness (= credit capacity). With a good credit rating, you not only increase your chances of getting a loan, but also of obtaining favourable interest rates.
You can find out more about creditworthiness and credit rating adjustment here
In order to find the right bank for your loan, you as the borrower must fulfil certain requirements for your loan application to be approved.
As an independent credit broker with many years of experience, we can tell you exactly which bank has the best chance of approving your loan. Please note: A direct enquiry to the wrong bank can result in you being refused a loan. Such a rejection is not without consequences: It can remain registered for at least two years and lead to further loan rejections.

Which is the best loan?

How much credit do I get with what income?
For smaller loan amounts up to CHF 80,000, a simple rule of thumb applies: the maximum amount for your loan is equal to the allowance per month times 36. Expressed as a calculation formula in an example, this looks like this:
| Income | 5000 CHF |
| Expenditure | -4000 CHF |
| Max. Allowance per month | 1000 CHF |
| Ma. Credit number | 36 X 1000 CHF = 36,000 CHF |
This means, for example, that you earn CHF 5000 net per month. Then you have expenses for rent, food, health insurance premiums, travelling to work, etc., which cost you CHF 4000 per month. This leaves an allowance of CHF 1000 per month. With this allowance, you can take out a maximum loan of CHF 36,000.
However, this is the legally prescribed maximum. This means that a credit provider can also set the maximum amount for a loan at a lower level. This is because a loan must not lead to over-indebtedness.
You're probably wondering why the monthly allowance is multiplied by the number 36. It's quite simple: The Consumer Credit Act (KKG) stipulates that every loan must be repayable within 36 months.
However, the term of 36 months is only the basis for calculating the maximum borrowing capacity. You can freely choose the term - up to a term of 120 months.

Where can I get a loan despite debts?
The Consumer Credit Act (KKG) clearly stipulates this: A loan must not lead to over-indebtedness. This is why credit providers in Switzerland always check the creditworthiness, i.e. the solvency of a borrower. This credit check is carried out by the Central Office for Credit Information (ZEK), of which all reputable credit institutions are members. Anyone who advertises loans without a ZEK enquiry is therefore not reputable, but probably a fraudster.
In addition, debt collection proceedings affect your creditworthiness - regardless of whether they have been finalised or not. This means that debt collection is often an exclusion criterion, meaning that your credit application could be rejected. This rejection leads to a negative ZEK entry, which in turn has a negative impact on future credit applications on your part.
What is possible, however, is debt rescheduling - i.e. the repayment of current loan debts with a new loan. But here too, a credit check is carried out before the loan can be cancelled.
