Loans for cross-border workers from France and Italy
Around half of all cross-border commuters in Switzerland live in France, with another significant proportion living in Italy. This page provides them with the key information on loans for holders of a G permit in their own language. The eligibility criteria at a glance: G permit held for at least 36 months, at least 36 months’ service with the same employer, permanent employment contract, net income of CHF 3,000 or more, no debt enforcement proceedings, and aged 65 or under. Cross-border commuters on temporary contracts are not eligible for a loan. Interest rates from 7.9 % effective; one of our partner banks is currently offering loans to cross-border commuters.
